Activities Related To PMFBY

Enrolment:

OMDC in association with Itus Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., licensed by IRDAI in the year 2013 has been into enrolment of farmers since Kharif 2014 (then MNAIS). Itus boasts about their proprietary app to assist in underwriting of crop insurance. This technology app provides Itus with the reach and agility required to gather, manage and use farmers and crop data smartly. At present this app is in the beta testing phase. This app enables efficient and accurate enrolment of farmers data trough technology intervention which would be our element of differentiation. This app allows us to gather store and access all relevant data and statistics about farmers, their lands, crops, bank details and insurance details etc.,

Witnessing CCEs:

OMDC with their strong trained man power on ground and their robust mobile app started witnessing the CCEs since kharif, 2017. The activities and media coverage are more elaborated in the next pages. The CCE app helps OMDC with the technology required to have an error free crop cutting experiment along with remote report generation. The entire control and access is done from the head office giving little or no space to any manipulations at the ground level.
