ABOUT US

Incorporated in the year 2010, registered under sec 8 of companies Act, The organisation was established with an aim to develop micro insurance in India. The current vision of the organisation is to achieve overall development of micro insurance specifically in agriculture domain in India. During the journey, “OMDC” has worked with many reputed organisations including the most prestigious Melinda and Gates foundation in India. For the purpose to emancipate the general health facilities and conditions in the remote areas of the country especially the North Eastern parts.

Some of the Key assignments undertaken by OMDC include

1. Enrolment of farmers for crop insurance program under various Govt. schemes
(viz., MNAIS, WBCIS, PMFBY) for different Insurers in association with Itus Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd.
2. Witnessing of Crop Cutting Experiments on behalf of the Insurers.
3. Data validation/verification for processing of PMFBY claims.
4. Crop Insurance Awareness programs in association with Prof.Jayshankar University, Telangana and Agriculture college, Bapatla.
5. Fail safe audit method in association with university of California & Prof.Jayshankar University,Telangana.
6. Research on ‘Dual Trigger’ Mechanism in crop insurance claims in association with BAIS in Mali and Burkina Faso.
7. Remote sensing Experiments in association with www.harvesting.com 8. Micro insurance agents/POS training program with www.microensure.com
